This week Ariana and I were deconstructing poppy boxes and sweeping the deck outside. We both worked together to unfold the poppy boxes, so we finished that part pretty quickly. Then we swept the deck with a broom between the two of us, so we had to take turns. It was pretty difficult and we ended up getting a little broom and shovel which we used interchangeably with the bigger broom. In the end we managed to finish to a reasonable degree which we were happy with. I think we did well considering that it was mostly leaves we had to sweep. in my opinion, the deck was somehow one of the most disgusting places to clean out of the ones I’ve done so far. I think its to do with the fact that I didn’t expect it to be so gross as opposed to something like the toilets where its expected. there were cigarette butts everywhere and some random trash then these weird melted lollies on the bench. In conclusion, I think we did a pretty good job but I wouldn’t want to do this area again, and my sympathy for whoever does it next has increased greatly.
Interview
Doing a job interview with Ayesha.
Japanese
I am learning beginner level Japanese. I cant really read many things in Japanese cause it has three different types of written language, generally used at the same time and I only know one of those types. but I can write a little bit, like my name and stuff.
アローラ です。(translates to "I'm Aurora")
Holiday Destination
My ideal holiday location would be japan, cause I’m studying Japanese. But I’d like to get better at the language before going.
Favorite Song
Hi,
one of my favorite songs is “Ophelia” by the Lumineers. I have listened to this song an ungodly amount of times, and no, I have not listened to the music video. (I normally listen to it on Spotify.)
